The primary objective of Helping Minds (HM) is to provide quality guidance and support to the poor people for fulfilling their basic necessities and obtaining good education. HM identifies and evaluates the economically challenged but brilliant students and sponsor their education. HM has been registered as "Public Charitable Trust". The trust has been granted deductions in respect of donations under sec 80G of the Income tax Act 1961, in the hands of the donors.

Water tank for Mayanoor Govt school

We got a request for water tank for Mayanoor Government primary school at Karur district. We had earlier provided the uniform for about 50 students of this school last year. See here for more details.

The Head Master of the school is taking good care of the school. The total cost for the water tank is about Rs. 10000 (Sintex 1000 litre water tank for Rs. 4500, One inch Pipe = Rs. 250 x 6 = Rs.1500, Water Taps - 5; each Rs. 100; Total Rs. 500, Miscellaneous - transport, bend, coupling etc- Rs. 1000, Labor cost - Rs. 2500) We had provided a cheque in the name of the Headmaster on 25th Aug, 2009.
