Helping Minds

The primary objective of Helping Minds (HM) is to provide quality guidance and support to the poor people for fulfilling their basic necessities and obtaining good education. HM identifies and evaluates the economically challenged but brilliant students and sponsor their education. HM has been registered as "Public Charitable Trust". The trust has been granted deductions in respect of donations under sec 80G of the Income tax Act 1961, in the hands of the donors.

HM supported a deserving student to continue Higher Studies

A student, from Melakkottai near Kovilur in Pudukkottai District, who has secured 473/500 in his SSLC Exam 2010 is not able to continue his higher studies (+1) due to his family financial background. The student wanted to become a Doctor but his parents are unable to support him. His father is working as Library Assistant in a Self-Financing Engineering College and drawing Rs.3000/- per month as salary. The expense for the student including his hostel fees is Rs.6000/-. HM sent DD of Rs.3700/- for a deserving student on 9th June 2010.
