Helping Minds

The primary objective of Helping Minds (HM) is to provide quality guidance and support to the poor people for fulfilling their basic necessities and obtaining good education. HM identifies and evaluates the economically challenged but brilliant students and sponsor their education. HM has been registered as "Public Charitable Trust". The trust has been granted deductions in respect of donations under sec 80G of the Income tax Act 1961, in the hands of the donors.

Support for Bcom student of Poonga College

This student is doing his Bcom Final Year in Poonga college which is in Uthani at East Coast Road. Actually there is a gap between his +2 and degree start date. He was working in a school for Rs 1500 per month during that time. Head Master of that school has advised him to do a degree which can increase job prospects and salary. So he has started doing it. Till last year, he got help from Alagappa Trust adyar, but this year since they got lot of requests, they couldn't support him. He is in need of Rs 8000 for his final year college fees. HM has decided to help him and has given the required amount on 11 Jun 2010
