Continuing help for Karthik and Vetri

Karthik and Vetri have got 90% and 85.5% marks in 6th semester respectively; they are expecting results for the 7th semester in few days. They requested help for their hostel fees (Rs. 5500 for Karthik and Rs. 7800 for Vetri including mess dues) for this semester. HM has provided this fees on 11-Jun-09.

Vetri and Karthik have got jobs in CTS

Here is a good news! Both Vetrikumaran and Karthik have got jobs in CTS in campus placements!
Vetri has scored about 75% in 5th semester, 85% in 6th semester; Karthik has scored about 95% in 5th semester.

HM has decided to help for the mess fees Rs. 7930 for both of them.

Continued help for even semester 2007: Ramya, Periyasamy, Vetri, Karthik; and good news!

HM has given Rs. 2000 for Ramya on 3rd Dec, Rs. 8005 for Periyasamy, Rs. 4190 for Vetrikumaran and Rs. 4190 for Karthik on 18th December 2007 towards their even semester fees.
One good news about Periyasamy: He has got a job in TCS in the campus interview!
Vijay Madhav has scored 560/600 in fifth semester and he has secured college first rank this semester too.

Helping Karthik

Karthik is a classmate of our beneficiary Vetrikumaran studying in AC Tech., Anna University. He has scored very good marks in 10th (1020/1100) and 12th (1139/1200). He has opted for a self supporting course without much awareness and hence he is not eligible for scholarships (B.C., 1st graduate).

He is a dedicated student and he has scored 8.8/10 an average for each semester. He is currently taking tuition for a +2 student and the student's parents will pay his mess fees. He did this for last two years. One of his professors is helping him to find a +2 student whose parent can afford his mess fees.

During the first two years, he paid the fees by getting SBI education loan. But he could not pay the interest for this. Now the SBI says it can't give loan any more unless he pays the interest.

Helping Minds helped him with Hostel Fees for this semester. Jayakumar took DD and gave the same to Karthik. With the help of his HOD, Karthik has got the college fees from SBI for this semester.
